Warning Description: Winter Storm Watch

Warning Date: 3:09 PM CST on February 22, 2012

WarningSum:...Winter Storm Watch Remains In Effect From Thursday Morning
Through Thursday Evening...

Warning Message:* timing...much of Thursday into Thursday evening.
* Snowfall...wet snow of 4 to 8 inches with a narrow band of 8 to
  10 inches possible.
* Visibility...less than a mile in heavier snow.
* Temperature/wind chill...temperatures in the mid 30s.
* Impacts...the snow may be heavy at times...resulting in low
  visibility and slick...snow or slush covered roads. The heavy
  snow may linger into the evening hours on Thursday. The morning
  and evening commutes may be impacted by moderate to heavy snow.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow...sleet...and/or ice accumulations that would seriously
impact travel. Monitor later forecasts for updates.
